Coming from a design and graphical background, Bettina is an high-voltage artist based in Paris, always eager to dig unexplored fields to find the most striking and impactful images she can capture. At day, that translates in her work as a studio-photographer, developing colorful still life compositions, constructed sets, and editorial images with models.
When the sun sets, she switches to her videographer ventures, closely monitoring the French techno-scene and capturing the highly-specific atmosphere of those nights where the most intense rhythmics meet the erratic movements of bodies.

I work primarily in the studio, constructing controlled environments for still life and editorial photography. I am interested in how images can be built rather than captured. Through set design, lighting, and composition, I treat the frame as a space that can be engineered to produce tension and atmosphere.

In still life, I focus on material, surface, and balance. Objects are arranged with attention to negative space and structural relationships.

In parallel, my video work within the techno scene operates differently. There, I engage with movement, rhythm, and collective energy while maintaining a strong awareness of framing. The contrast between studio control and nightlife immersion informs my broader practice.

An ethical consideration in my work concerns representation within nightlife culture. I remain attentive to consent and to the line between documenting atmosphere and aestheticizing intensity.

One limitation I acknowledge is my tendency toward over-control. Precision can reduce unpredictability, and I am still negotiating how much instability I allow into the image.

My work situates itself among contemporary practices that understand photography as constructed space rather than spontaneous documentation.
